This is where you create your watermarks!
The layers section allows you to create or remove layers which form your watermarks. Each layer can contain text, borders, a cross or an overlay image. You can add, remove or copy layers in the top section. You can also rename layers by double clicking on the name and also enable or disable layers by selecting the checkbox next to the layer name:
Location and Transparency
Transparency
Defines the overall transparency of the layer elements.
Postion
Sets the position of the layer.
Padding
This section allows you to fine tune the positioning of the layer either horizontally or vertically.
Options
This section allows you to repeat the layer across the image from the starting postion either horizontally or vertically.
Text
This section allows you to create text based watermarks, you can select a font, colour, alignment and style. You can also set a text outline and colour as well as text type:
Normal Text
Text is rendered normally.
Embossed Text
Text is embossed with a white border.
Transparent Embossed Text
Text is embossed transparently over the image.
Size and Angle
This section allows you to define the angle in degrees of the watermark text and the size either in points or as a percentage of the size of the image.
Image Counter
Counters allow you to add serial numbers to your images. You can set a start counter and define how much each image increments it as it is processed. If you want to save the counter value position between processing check the Preserve current counter value box to preserve. You must also save your session to ensure the counter is saved to disk.
Insert Symbol
Allows you to insert symbols not available on your keyboard:
You also have the option of inserting unicode characters (advanced) or launching Character Map to find your desired symbol to paste in.
Insert Counter
When a counter is defined you need to insert it in to a position in the watermark text. Click this button to insert the counter.
Insert Macro
This option enables you to read EXIF data from an image and insert it in to the watermark. For example you may want to insert the date and time the image was taken or the exposure settings:
Image
This option will convert the overlay image to greyscale before rendering it on to the layer.
This option defines the size of the overlay as a percentage of the target image.
Draw a border around the image with a specific width, indent and colour:
